    What do I need to pay to attend any of these programs?

    In addition to an annual financial Membership fee of $5.00, participants pay a fee of $10.00. for each day attend. This cost covers transport to and from the Cottage, craft supplies, morning tea and a mid-day meal and it helps cover the operating costs.

    When members go on outings, the cost of these is determined by the venue, with only the actual cost incurred eg. Meal at a club, entry fee being charged, etc.

     

    How can I refer to Myrtle Cottage?

    All referrals to the Cottage should be made personally or with your permission by a relative, doctor, or service provider etc. Myrtle Cottage now also received referrals through the My Aged Care website.

     

    How can I start volunteering?

    Volunteers are an integral part of the Cottage and are welcome to participate on a regular basis. Various training programs are held from time to time.

    Induction information sessions for people interested in volunteering are held approximately every month. Please ring Myrtle Cottage for more information if you would like to book into a session.
